James Lorenzo Cecil Jr., 76, of Louisville, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Norton Audubon Hospital. A native of Nelson County, he was a former truck driver for Turner Expediting Freight Company in Louisville. He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 89 and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lorenzo Sr. and Mary Ella Peake Cecil; six brothers; five sisters; his wife, Marion Cecil; and a stepdaughter, Karen Seals.


The funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and continues at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
