Mr. Lambert was born June 11, 1934 in Marion County, the son of the late Lonnie Lambert and the late Essie Huggins Lambert. Harold was an auto mechanic for many years and was the former Owner and Operator of Lambert’s Service Center. Along with repairing cars, Harold had strong affinity for racing and was known throughout the Carolinas for his winning race cars. Mr. Lambert was a US Army veteran and a member of Christian Faith Baptist Church.
Surviving Mr. Lambert in addition to his wife of the home, Jerri Woodle Lambert are his children, Vann (Jerry) Buie of Florence, Teresa Gaddy of Florence, Jerri Ann Moore of Mullins, Kathy (Randy) Woodberry of Mullins, Marshall (Jeanie) Squires of Nichols, Bobby (Pam) Harrelson of Mullins and Anthony Tucker of Nichols; a sister, Amorite Britt of Floydale; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Harold was predeceased by a brother, William “Billy” Lambert.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Lovern officiating. Mr. Lambert will be laid to rest in Mayers Memorial Park following the service, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
