Dusing- Waynard S. Dusing, 68, Rockford Manor, died at 8:05 p.m. Friday March 15, in Swedish American Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born July 26, 1905, in Maryland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Dusing. Lived 27 years in Rockford, coming here from Dixon. He was a self employed painter. Veteran of World War 1, serving in the Army. Survivors include three daughter, Mrs. Nellie Laughlin, Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Dorothy Ware, Rockford; Mrs. Margaret Bry, Loves Park; three sons, Robert and Ronald, Rockford, and David, Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Margaret, two brothers, Marlo, Dixon, and Eugene, Rockford, and 19 grandchildren.
Services at 2 p.m. Monday in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, with the Rev. Richard E. Reynolds, pastor of Windsor Baptist Church, officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
