Daughter of Raymond F and D.Estella Brenner. Graduated Troy,Ks. High School in 1951, Highland Community College in 1953. Married Stacy Bird Prawl Sept. 22,1951. He preceded her in death on Jan 26,1971. She then married Jerry Acord on June 16,1973. He survives of the home in Wathena, Ks. She retired as a systems analyst for the U.S.Army,Fort Leavenworth, Ks. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Additional survivors: two daughters, Judy Mae Prawl and Barbara Prawl Ruhnke, son Stacy Dennis Prawl of Clovis, Calif.; Stepdaughters, Janie Field of Lee's Summit, Mo; Jerri Walters of LaJolla, Calif; Julie Sheehan of Frisco, Texas and Jody Acord of St. Joseph; Stepson Edward Curtis Acord of St. Joseph; brother John Brenner, Savannah; three sisters, Vera Wright and Karen Mears, both of St. Joseph; and Sharon Kanak of Maysville,Mo. Funeral service: 2p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at First Baptist Church, Wathena,Ks., Burial: Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena,Ks. Memorials: Alzheimer's Foundation or Hands of Hope Hospice.
