Nicholas Long, 89, husband of Mary Dale Long, died Friday February 15, 2013 at the VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY.

A native of Niles, OH, he was the son of the late Charles Vincent and Mary Ploska Long. He was the retired owner of the Long's Radio and TV in Niles, OH, a member of the First Christian Church, Paris, KY and the Second Baptist Church in Warren, OH where he served as a Deacon and was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Steven M. Greenamyer of Paris; one son and daughter-in-law, Dale J. and Evangleine Long of Floyds Knob, IN; three grandsons, Nick, Kyle and Kurt Long; two step granddaughters, Melissa Greenamyer and Rebecca Lomker; one step grandson, Steven D. Greenamyer; two brothers, Vincent Long and George Long; seven step great grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan and Samantha Lomker, Morgan and Caden Beck and Brycen and Skylar Catania and several nieces, nephews and cousins including a special niece, Gloria Ray.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday February 19, 2013 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Jeff Bell. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Tuesday February 19, 2013 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
