The body of Hans Peterson, 67, who was killed Monday morning May 26, 1941, east of town when the tractor he was driving overturned, was laid two rest in the Shamrock Cemetery Wednesday afternoon following services at the Church of Christ at 4 o'clock.

Pallbearers were B.F. Stephens, W.J. Stephens, C.A. Means, Robert Lee, Ernest Snell and Allen Smith. Flower attendants were Charlotte Stephens, Catherine Ann Allen, Twila Dean Glass, Jane Ann Lane, Cecilia Allen and Betty Sue Snell,. Minister J.L. Roberts was in charge of the rites and Nix-Youngblood Funeral Home conducted the burial services.

Mr. Peterson was born November 30, 1873, in Denmark and came to the United States when a child. He had resided in this vicinity for the past seven years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Vada Peterson, four brothers and one niece. The Texan joins many friends of the family in expressing sympathies to the family in their bereavement.
