James Cornelius Norrid, 68, Oklahoma City, Okla., died Sunday April 5, 1992. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Shamrock. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary.

Mr. Norrid was born Jan. 23, 1924 in Shamrock, and had been a resident of Oklahoma City for 21 years. He was a 1942 graduate of Kelton High School, and the University of OCU in 1957, and Woodrow Wilson School of Law, Adrian, GA, in 1962. He was a retired photographer, and World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father in 1955 and his mother in 1985.

Survivors include a son, James Warren Cowles of Houston, a daughter, Terry Puckett of Houston; two brothers, Floyd Norrid of Lubbock; and Cecil Norrid of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Mary Bentley of Borger; and Edna Lou Kidd of Lubbock; and two grandchildren.
