Funeral services for Charlie Jackson,72, of Dumas, a retired farmer who died Sunday at Delta Memorial Hospital here, with Rev. A.D. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery at Dumas by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas.

Born in Gillett, Jackson was a son of Pearlie and Georgia Jackson.

He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Jackson; three sons, Odell Bynum of Milwaukee, Elijah Bynum of Little Rock and Willie Jones of the Tarry community near Star City; a dauhter,Ozell Taylor of Little Rock; two brothers, Douglas Jackson of Pine Bluff and Elvin Jackson of Monroe, Louisiana; four sisters, Nancy Christian and Beulah Cobbs, both of Dumas, Dorothy Branch of Watson and Lillie Luckett of St. Louis; 12 grand children; 22 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
