CAROLYN SHEDIVY -- "Death removed a mother of five children Tuesday when Mrs. Adolph Shedivy, 1610 18th St., passed away, aged 29. The deceased died while undergoing an operation for gall stones at Holy Family Hospital. She had become ill and when partially recovered she submitted to the operation believing it would probably save her life so that she could remain with her husband and children and continue her service of love and duty to them, but the fates decreed otherwise and she has passed to her eternal rest leaving her husband and the five children ranging in age from 3 months to ten years.

"Deceased was born in Tisch Mills, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Stangel. The funeral will be held from the home of her childhood with services at St. Mary's Church Saturday morning, Rev. Father Shimek officiating."
