In the Name of God Amen I William Rogers of the Lower Parish of Surry County being not very well but of Perfect mind and memory and Considering the Uncertainty of this Life and that all Men are Mortall I do make this my Last Will & Testament --
First, I Bequeafe my Soull to God that gave itt and my body to the Earth from whence it Came to be buried after a Christian manner by my Execx: (Vizt)

Item. I give to my Son William Rogers which I had by my former wife, two the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to Son Benjamin Rogers to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my Son Robert Rogers to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Ellis to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my Daughter Mary Bennit to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my Daughter Sarah Bennit to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my Daughter Perscilla Procktor to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my Son Joseph Rogers to the Valley of five Shillings.
Item. I give to my youngest son William Rogers which I had by my wife Elizabeth, my Plantation and four hundred and fifty Acres of Land to it and all that is Called his in my Lifetime.
Item. I give to my Daughter Jane Rogers to the Valley of five Shillings. And all that is Called hers in my Lifetime.
Item. I give to my Loving Wife Elizabeth Rogers all the Rest of my Worldly goods which it hath pleased God to bless me with all after the Legices paid of I do make her my whole Excetatricks of this my Last Will and Testament, Avoiding and Disanuling all other former Wills, as Witness my hand and Seall this twenty Eight day of January 1724/25.
