James A. Fenstermacher, 87, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. James was born in Schuylkill Haven, Nov. 6, 1925, a son of the late Theodore B. and Josephine Dietrich Fenstermacher. He attended Schuylkill Haven schools. He was the husband of Betty Viola Reber Fenstermacher. Jim proudly served in the Army in Germany during World War II as a military policeman. He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven. He served as past president and assistant fire chief of the Rainbow Hose Company No. 1 and was also past president of the Rainbow Gun Club. Jim was a lifetime member of the Robert E. Baker Post No. 38 American Legion, Schuylkill Haven. He worked as a union carpenter. He is preceded in death by five brothers, Arthur, Theodore, Warren and twins John and George Fenstermacher; and one sister, Helen Gerber.
