Her gentle nature and loving kindness will be missed by those whose lives she touched so deeply.
Graveside services for the family will be today at 10:30 a.m. at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road.
Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel (850-883-4177) is handling arrangements.
The family will receive friends and family later that evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of her daughter.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the church where her son serves as lead pastor, Woodland Hills Community Church, P.O. Box 181115, Tallahassee, FL 32318.
Raised in Hueytown, Ala., and born on July 3, 1936, she was the daughter of Audie and Rosa Walker.
Barbara worked at Sullivan, Long and Hagerty of Birmingham, Ala., until she moved, with her husband and family to Tallahassee, where she worked and retired from Sprint (Centel).
