Edward Marshall, b. May 5, 1842 ; enlisted in Co. G, 23d Regt. Mich. Vols., Sept. 2, 1862, as fifth sergeant. In 1863 he was promoted to first sergeant ; went to Bowling Green, Kentucky, and d. Feb. 10, 1863.
