Funeral service for Annie "Beatrice" Flannagin, 86, of Town Creek, will be Monday, February 25, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Lawrence Funeral home Chapel with The Bro. Josh Horton and Virgil Calhoun officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Mrs. Flannagin was a secretary at Lawrence County Public Transportation. She was also a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Flannagin died on Friday, February 22, 2013, at River City care and Rehabilitation. She was born to the late Willard Nelson and Lena Belle Reed Nelson on September 15, 1926, in Lawrence County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Flannagin; her daughter, Gail Flannagin Montgomery; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Ferguson of Hatton; two granddaughters, Mechelle Henderson (Jeff) of Trinity and Angela Alexander (Charles) of Hartselle; grandson, Chris Ferguson of Hatton; great-granddaughter, Leann Simmons (Ben); four great-grandsons, Michael Montgomery, Nick Alexander, Dillon Henderson, and Brandon Alexander; great-granddaughter, Bridget Alexander; and great-great-granddaughter, Adalyn Simmons.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Henderson, Charles Alexander, Chester Quinn, Burl Bradford, Jerry Terry, and Malcom Smith.
