Born June 5, 1920 passed away February 18, 2013 at age 92. Born in Kansas City, MO, he moved to Los Angeles as a young boy. He married his high school sweetheart Virginia Rush in 1940. She passed away in 1993. He worked in the Los Angeles area in the aircraft and aerospace industry and he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He resided in West Los Angeles for 50 years. He is survived by sons Marshall B. III (Susan), Randall and Richard (Mary), grandchildren Michael (Rachel), David (Marla), Randall II (Danielle), Alexandra and great-grandchildren Monique, Maxwell, Katherine, Luke, James, Eva, Colson and Jace.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday February 28, 2013 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity will be much appreciated.

Marshall was born the son of Canadian parents William John Lloyd (1892 – 1956) and Florence Edwidge Allore (1893 – 1981). Marshall was the namesake of his great uncle, Marshall Burns Lloyd, inventor of the Lloyd Loom and former mayor of Menominee, Michigan. Our subject's grandfather was inventor Cyrus Sing Lloyd.
