Stephen H. Duncan, 65, Kokomo, passed away at 7:05 P.M. Friday, February 22, 2013, at Community Howard Regional Hospital. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on January 9, 1948, to the late Howard and Naomi (Troyer) Duncan. Stephen graduated from Kokomo High School in 1966, he then served with the United States Army in Korea from 1967 to 1969. After serving with the Army, Stephen was employed at Chrysler in the casting plant for 30 years, retiring in 2003. After retirement, Stephen kept himself busy with a part time job at St. Joseph Hospital transporting Rehab patients. Stephen belonged to the VFW, Eagles, UAW local 1166, AMA, Midnight Riders and the Goldwing Association of Kokomo. He enjoyed bowling, and bowled for Lowes Speed Shop. Other pastimes included golfing, camping and especially motorcycling. He often attended out of state motorcycle rallies, and enjoyed traveling all over the United States. On May 28, 2008, Stephen married Rebecca "Becky" (Walker Seals) Duncan and she survives.

Stephen is also survived by his son, Mathew Duncan; daughter, Leslie (Mike) Hill; step-son, Clinton (Khristy) Seals; step-daughter, Kristal (Rich) Jones; grandchildren, Moya Brown, Anthony Templin, Samantha Jones, Richard Jones and Braydon Harris; other special children, Haley and Carlie Campbell, Breanna Harris and Ava Grace Worland; and siblings, Ruth (Harold) Johnson, Edward Duncan, Cindy (Stephen) Anderson, Mary (John) Sullivan and Shelley (Randy) Schroeder. Also surviving are close family pets, Jasper and Keela; special aunt, Cheryl that introduced Becky to Stephen, other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife and mother of his children, Krista (Evans) Duncan.

Stephen's family will be receiving friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Stephen's funeral will be held on Wednesday February 27, also at the mortuary, with Pastors Chris Duncan and Jeff Russell officiating. Following the funeral, Stephen will be laid to rest in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, Kokomo, with full military rites provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW military rites teams.
