Cricketer. Born in Westhampnett, Sussex, he was English cricketer during the game's roundarm era. For twenty-eight seasons (1825-53), he played for the Sussex, Surry, Hampshire, Middlesex and Marylebone cricket clubs. He concluded his career with a record of 1576 wickets in 237 matches at an average of 10.36 with 2350 runs and took 141 catches. He died at age 62 in London, England and his son Fred Lillywhite was also a noted cricketer.
