Charles A. Bonnel Dies

Charles A. (Jack) Bonnell, 80, of 1506 W. Second, died Wednesday evening
at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday
at the Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sunset Lawns Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 18, 1902 at Hennessey, Okla., the son of W.A. and Jessie
Milner Bonnel. He moved to El Dorado five years ago from Leon wehre he
made his home for five years. Before moving to Leon he lived on a ranch
near Cambridge. He was a retired rancher.

On Dec.11, 1924 he was married to Dosha Whiteman. She preceded him in death
in 1947. On Jan. 21, 1950 he was married to Esther Yarnall in Wichita.

Survivors include his wife, Esther of the home, two daughters, Elsie Mae
Davis, Cambridge, Kan., and Dolores Oliver of Midland, Texas; one step-son,
Glen Patterson of Sumner, Wash., one sister, Mattie Sphar of Cambridge,
and one brother, Walt Bonnel of Pampa, Texas; and four grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his first wife and his parents.
