ATTLEBORO – Edna M. (Roberts) Curran, 77, of Castle Road, Attleboro, died Friday, October 3, 2008, at the Lifecare Center of Attleboro. Born in Pawtucket, RI, a daughter of the late John A. & Ida May (Childs) Roberts, she was the wife of Robert L. Curran, Sr., to whom she was married for over fifty-five years.

A lifelong homemaker, Mrs. Curran was a resident of Attleboro the past four years, coming from Pawtucket, where she lived most of her life. She will be remembered for having made bed dolls for family and friends, and was a water color painter, who also enjoyed playing Bingo.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Curran is survived by two sons, Robert L. & his wife Renay Curran of Harrisville, RI, and John A. Curran and his fiancé Patricia Demers of Pawtucket, RI; four daughters, Deborah A. Collins of Pawtucket, Judith Martinez of Central Falls, RI, Nancy Luszcz of Providence, RI, and Linda Goyette of Pawtucket, RI; a brother, William Roberts of Pawtucket, RI; a sister, Irene Shirley of Pawtucket, RI; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert Roberts.

Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 6, 2008, at 12:00 Noon in the FOLEY – HATHAWAY Funeral Home, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, MA; burial will follow in the Newell Burying Ground in Attleboro.
