A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Mr. Troxler came to Muncie in 1920. He owned and operated Liberty Transit Lines, a predecessor of the city bus system, for several years and later was a farmer.
He was a member of Industry United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Delaware Lodge 46, F&AM; he was affiliated with the Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife, Lucile Clark Troxler; a brother, Hurschel Troxler, Muncie; and three sisters, Mrs. Attella Hunley, Mrs. Mary Ambrose, and Mrs. Lola Hubbs, all of Knoxville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Meeks Mortuary with Rev. O. Gene Smith, pastor of Industry United Methodist Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Calling hours at the mortuary will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today and before services Monday. A Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at the mortuary, by Delaware Lodge.
