A daughter of Daniel O. and Mattie (McLucas) Stayer. She was united in marriage with Claude R. Rush on August 18, 1915.
She was survived by two sons and a daughter, Harold Rush of Everett; Ellis Rush of Everett, RD2; and Ruth Steele of Hopewell, RD1; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, Nellie Ritchey of Everett, Rt. 3; Irene Diehl of Everett, Rt. 1; and Earl Stayer of Everett. Two sons preceded her in death, Claude Jr. and Earl Rush.
Mrs. Rush was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ (E. & R.) and the American Legion Auxiliary of Everett.
