The funeral for Martha Crook Lovell, 83, of 311 Wagoner Road, Collinsville, who died Dec. 17, 2011, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Norris Funeral Services in Martinsville with Pastor Lewis Harris officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
She was born in Franklin County on June 17, 1928, to Nannie Belle Shaon Crook and Claude Reese Crook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia C. Wade, and four brothers, Claude Reese Crook Jr., Richard Lee Crook, Oliver W. “Tom� Crook and William A. Crook.
She retired from First National Bank of Martinsville as a teller with 27 years of service. She was a member of McCabe Memorial Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are two sisters, Alma Crook Hale of Collinsville and Mary Crook Saul of Manassas.
