Colleen Sylvia Hatt -

The death occurred after a few days' illness at the S.M.Hospital on Sunday morning, of Colleen Sylvia, 6 months old daughter of Pte. and Mrs. Allen Hatt, of Torbrook Mines. Surviving are her parents, a brother, Ronald, aged 2 years, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barteaux, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hatt, and a number of uncles and aunts. The funeral service conducted by Rev. A.G. McClare in the absence of Rev. D.C. Boothroyd, was held on Thursday afternoon at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barteaux. Hymns sung were: "Jewels," "God Sees The Little Sparrows Fall," and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Pallbearers were Pte. Frank Slack, Roy Slack, Carroll Uhlman and Ralph Sanford. Interment was in the family lot adjoining the United Church.
