Per cemetery records, Maj. Emmett Charles Gravitt was killed in action in Australia and was buried in the cemetery on 1 June 1950.

The cemetery records suggest that his body was found and recovered and later repatriated to the United States. However, I can only supply you with what the cemetery records say. The records have been transcribed from paper records to a computer database. The information was supplied to me from that computer database.
