'Hubert Monpetit dit Pointevin' was the son of Hyacinthe Monpetit and Archange Leduc. He married Marguerite Ravary, 14 Apr 1820 at Joseph de Soulanges, Les Cedres, Quebec. Both Hubert and Marguerite were born and raised in St. Joseph's Parish of Les Cedres. He and Marguerite Ravary were married there and their first six children were born there. By the time of Honore's birth (Apr 1833) they had moved to Coteau du Lac where, also at this time, the first Lock was being built on the St. Lawrence. They evidently were among the founding members of St. Ignace Parish, which was founded in 1833.
Hubert and Marguerite are my great-great grandparents.
