Mr. Young was born April 8, 1944, in White County, to Daniel Beecher and Mary Ellen Taylor Young.
He was a tool and die maker and past master of Masonic Lodge #99. He was also well known as a guitar player, playing many funerals and other events around White County.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ellen Jenkins and Brenda Young.
Funeral service was 7 p.m., April 2, 2013, at Hunter Funeral Home.
