Christopher attended Tyson Jr. High and Weatherford High School where he was a band member and played basketball until graduating in 2001. He had also attended classes at the Weatherford College to work on his future. In 2003 Christopher signed up and served proudly in the United States Army. He was deployed to Iraq in 2005 to courageously defend our country against terrorism. During his time in the Army, Mr. Hooper was awarded the Army Commendation medal (2nd award), Army Achievement medal, Army Good Conduct medal, National Defense service medal, Global War on Terrorism service medal, Korean Defense service medal, Iraq Campaign medal, Army service ribbon, Overseas service ribbon(2nd award) and Combat Action badge. He received an Honorable Discharge in September of 2007
