Joe Baxter passed away at home on February 11, 2013, at the age of 93. He was born July 1, 1919, in Edgewood, Iowa. After serving with the Army in Europe during World War II, he married Vivian Harrington in 1948 and settled in Riverside, California, where he then spent 30 years working for Alcan Aluminum and Hunter Douglas. Joe is survived by his son Randy and his grandson Dustin. He also is survived by his sister, Mildred Traver, of Riverside, Ca, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, February 25, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, Ca.
