Jamie M. Groves-Cox, nee Huffman, 47, of Belleville, Mich., formerly of O'Fallon, Ill., born Feb. 6, 1966, at the Naval Hospital in Kodiak, Alaska, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, Ohio.
Jamie was a 1984 O'Fallon Township High School graduate. She was a nail technician and homemaker prior to moving to Michigan where she met and married her loving husband, Rob Cox.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marie and James M. Jones Jr.; and her paternal grandparents, Edith M. and Herman E. Huffman.
Jamie is survived by her husband, Rob Cox of Belleville, Mich.; daughters, Taylor A. Buecher of St. Louis, Mo., and Baylee E. Groves of Dupo, Ill.; her parents, Elaine M., nee Jones, and Herman P. "Sonny" Huffman of O'Fallon, Ill.; a sister, Edie H., nee Huffman, and Nicholas Carter of Watertown, N.Y.; a brother, Travis P. and Patty, nee Blockyou, Huffman of New Athens, Ill.; nephew, Zachary L. Carter; aunts and uncles, Lois M. (Morris) Peregrine, Nancy C. (Gerald) Grimes, Shirley A. Killingsworth, all of Whitesboro, Texas; great-aunts and great-uncles, Ruby Johnson of Branson, Mo., Dola Schroder of Haltom City, Texas and Jack Lloyd of Dodge City, Kan.; and many cousins.
