As a young teenage volunteer fireman, he died alongside an Anne Arundel county professional firefighter, Patrick Bauer, while inside a burning structure. FF Bauer was buried in Cedar Hill cemetery, Suitland, Md. Besides his parents, he left behind 5 sisters and 1 brother. Grandson of the late Loretta E. Driggers.
