Lillie Margaret Coy Barnes, 86, of Cynthiana, KY., died Friday, February 22, 2013, at Grand Haven Nursing Home.
She was born in Lincoln County, KY., November 25, 1926, to the late Harvey and Mandia Leathers Coy.
She was the oldest living member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church.
Her husband Robert Barnes, Sr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Wilma) Barnes, Jr., and William Ross (Lisa) Barnes, all of Cynthiana, KY., one daughter, Sissy (Tom) Levi, Cynthiana, KY., Nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
Services will be conducted 1 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Reverend Terry McDuffey, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Monday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
