Frederick H. Colehour
Frederick H. Colehour, prominent Mt. Carroll business man passed away at a local hospital late last night following a brief illness.
The body was taken to Mt. Carroll where funeral services will be conducted some time Friday, although the exact hour has not been set.
Mr. Colehour was born at Mt. Carroll in September, 1865, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel P. Colehour. He had been engaged in the lumber and fuel and feed business there for many years. During recent years his two sons were associated with him.
He was united in marriage in 1899 to Miss Mae Coleman, who passed away in March, 1932. He again married about six weeks ago to Miss Frances Coleman, sister of his first wife, who survives. There are also two sons, Theodore and Clarence Colehour, both of Mt. Carroll. The following brothers also survive; Dr. Samuel C. Colehour, Jesse Colehour, Mt. Carroll, Frank Colehour, Rockford
Mr. Colehour was affiliated with the Masonic blur lodges and Long Commandery, Knights Templar, Mt. Carroll; Freeport Consistory and Thala Temple Shrine, Rockford.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Masonic fraternity will have charge of the services and interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery at Mt. Carroll.
