Katie Marie Crisp Green, 78, of Franklin, N.C., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Iva Crisp and Della V. Bryson Crisp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Green and 11 brothers and sisters, Fred, Furman, J.L, Lawrence, J.W, Homer, Gaither, Iva Jean Dills, Elizabeth Clark and Virginia and Anita Crisp. She enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting and cooking for her family. She was a member of Windy Gap Baptist Church.

She is survived by two brothers; sister and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 15, at Windy Gap Baptist Church. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charlie Sanders, Dallas Crisp, Darrin Crisp, Ken Crisp, Terry Crisp, Dewayne Ervin, Mark Cook and Johnny Crisp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
