Nelson Yarnell Dead
Word has been received from Sacramento, California, of the death of Nelson Yarnell, on Friday, an old pioneer of this vicinity. Mr. Yarnell came to Fremont county about 1875 and served as a government scout for a great many years and fighting in several Indian Wars. Later he took up his residence in the Dubois country and then at Jackson Hole where he remained until last fall when he went to California to live with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Poole. The remains have been shipped from Sacramento, and will arrive in Lander Tuesday evening. Wednesday Masonic funeral services will be held.

Funeral Yesterday
The funeral of Nelson Yarnell, old time resident and pioneer of the Lander valley, took place yesterday afternoon at the Masonic Lodge Rooms under the auspices of Wyoming Lodge No. 2. Interment was made at Mt. Hope Cemetery where the last rites were performed by the Blue Lodge Masons.
