Spc. Gregory A. Cox of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania was born a son of John E. and Mary Anne Porco Cox of Carmichaels and graduated from All Saints School of Masontown and a 2001 graduate of Geibel Catholic High School. He was inducted into the U.S. Army on August 29, 2001, completed basic training and armor training at Fort Knox, Ky., and was stationed with the 1st Armored Division at Schweinfert, Germany. Greg was an altar server at All Saints in Masontown growing up and never missed a service and always volunteered to do more. He also enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. Deceased are grandparents John E. Cox Sr. and Guy and Carmela Porco. He was 21.
