Myrtle Viola Davis Vincent, 87, died at 9 PM Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1987, in the home of her nephew, Bill Davis of rural Lafayette. She had been in failing health for two years. Born April 5, 1900, at Muncie, she was reared there, but spent most of her life at Lafayette. She married Ernest H. Vincent on Dec. 30, 1939, at Lafayette.
Mrs. Vincent worked at Duncan Electric, where she calibrated meters for 44 years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and the Duncan Electric 25-Year Club.
Surviving with her nephew are a niece, Janet Frank of Boston, PA. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters, including George R. Davis, Charles M. Davis, and Mary Jane Davis Arndt.
