Mrs. S. J. Knight of Anna, sister of Capt. J. L. Greer of this city, died at her home at Anna, monday morning after an illness of only four days duration.
Mrs. Knight was a native of Alabama but had been a resident of Collin County for a number of years.
Besides Capt. J. L. Greer of this city, she is survived by the following other brothers; J. F. and J. R. Greer of Anna, Dr. Joe Greer of Alvord, and B. D. D. Greer of Dallas.
Mrs. Knight moved to Anna about five years ago, shortly after the death of her husband which occurred in Alabama. She leaves no children. She was a member of the Presbyterian churchm a consistent christian and a most highly esteemed lady whose death is deeply deplored(sic) [adored?] by all.
The funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian church at Van Alstyne at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, the interment was made at the Van Alstyne cemetery.
