Dorothy Mae Thurston, 78, died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She was born May 6, 1932, in Roxana to Ward
Adam and Mary Elizabeth (Woods) Redenbo. She had retired from the US Army Mobility Equipment Command and enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
Survivors include her daughters and their spouses, Cathy and Roger Uthe of Chamois, Mo., and Diane and Mark Rench of Brighton; grandchildren, Jimmy
Ogg of Fort Cambell, Ky., Joey and spouse Carlene Ogg of Chamois, Kari and spouse, Matt Kahl, of Medora, Matt Whitman of Chamois, Caleb Rench who is serving in Afghanistan, Jacob and spouse, Ashley Rench, of Bethalto, Emily Rench of Brighton and Lacey Uthe of Chamois; greatgrandchiidren,
Heather, Jasper, Rylee Ogg, Devyn and Hunter Kahl, Drake and Nolan Whitman, Alijah and Rheagan Rench and Dalton Scabiaka; a brother and his wife, Harold and Millie; Redenbo; and her feline companion, Susie.
He [sp] was preceded in death by his [sp] parents and sister, Nellie LaPearl Redenbo. ;
Visitation will be from 10 until service time at 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton. The Rev. Ray Robinson will officiate. Burial will take place at Asbury Cemetery. ;
Memorials may be made to Washington University of ENT, in care of the Cochlear Program.
