This beloved husband, father, and grandfather was born on June 30, 1923, in Salyersville, Kentucky to Ellis Hall and Mary J. Williams. Having served his country honorably for 20 years, he was one of the Greatest Generation. His military career began during WWII and ended with his retirement from the United States Air Force in 1965.
After a subsequent retirement from the International Harvester Company in Springfield, Ohio, MSgt Hall moved to San Antonio to spend his golden years. He served God in his church home of University United Methodist Church by leading one of the adult Sunday school classes for many years. MSgt Hall was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and member of Bellevue Lodge No. 325 in Bellevue, Nebraska, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Omaha, Orient of Nebraska, and Tangiers Shriners, Omaha, Nebraska.
Recently preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Amanda Arlene Hall, he is survived by his daughter, Linda D. Hall; his two grandchildren, Ashley (Glaser) Runnels and Andrew Glaser; and two sisters, who both reside in Kentucky, Dorothy Hinton and Verlillie Rice.
