Addie M. Reese was born in Van Buren, Arkansas about 1918. She was an only child. She attended Douglas and Lincoln High Schools in Van Buren, Arkansas. In July 1939 she married Elbert Reese. In this union nine children were born. One child, Ronnie Reese, her parents and her husband preceded her in death. Addie was baptized at an early age. At the time of her death she was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. She loved working with the disabled and senior citizens, she was a peace maker.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her step-father, Everett, four sons, four daughters, one step-daughter, one sister, 28 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
