Susan Phedocia Anderson was born at Jeffries Corner, Sussex, NB. She was the second daughter of Thomas F Anderson and Mary Carter. Abram Mabee and Miss Susan P Anderson, both of Markhamville, married on November 14, 1887 at the Baptist Parsonage, Sussex, NB. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, per and article in the Kings County Record (Newspaper), dated 18 Nov.1937.
Abram and Susan are said to have adopted two children, William Mabee and Dora Eva Mabee. Dora was born, the daughter of Thomas and Eliza Proctor. William may have also been a Proctor, the son of Thomas and his first wife, Amanda. These children were relatives.
