Mr. Lynch was born on November 22,, 1944 in Scranton, a cherished son of the late Wendell J. Lynch and Kathleen Collins Lynch. He attended Lake City High School, served in the Army National Guard where he received an honorable discharge for services to his country. After leaving Vulcraft of Florence, where he worked as a crane operator for many years, he began a career as a long distance truck driver before retiring after over 30 years.
Ben will be remembered by his family, friends, and community as a loving dad, granddad and wonderful brother, as well as a faithful and honest friend to all. He was well known for his many acts of kindness and for lending a helping hand to all those in need. His cheerful, light hearted and unique disposition always up lifted those he touched.
