Casey Dawn Nelson, 21, of East Palatka, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, as the result of a car accident.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. She had attended Palatka High School and attended Providence Baptist Church. She is known as someone who enjoyed life.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pete and Maxine Wilkinson, and paternal grandmother, Mary Frances Nelson.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Mark and Suzanne Nelson of Bardin; her mother and companion, Dawn Mattox and Gary Swoap of East Palatka; one brother, Kyle Nelson of Bardin, and one sister, Kayla Nelson of Bardin.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 2, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka, with Pastor Eric Botley officiating. Interment will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens. (Palatka Daily news Obituary dtd 31 Jan 2007.)
