Tommie W. Ellis, 90, a native of Chowan County, died Feb. 28, 2003 in Brian Care Center [Hertford, NC]. Ellis was the son of the late William and Mary Ann Dail Ellis. He was a farmer and formerly worked for Weyerhaeuser. He was a member of Calvary Pentecoastal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maude Winslow Ellis.
Funeral services were held March 2, 2003 in Swindell Funeral Home Chapel with Ken Spivey officiating. Burial was in Cedar Wood Cemetery.
