Anna May Orton Halterman, age 89, passed away February 6, 2013 in Hurricane, Utah. She was born in Parowan, UT on June 14, 1923 to Ellis and Cora May Orton. She married Donald Eugene Halterman on August 26, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died January 7, 1975.

She will be remembered for her love of literature and music. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and sang with the Sweet Adeline's.

Anna May is survived by her children; Donald (Gloria), Ronald (Mary), Betty (William) Jepson and Susan (Jerry) Olds; 17 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; son, Gary; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the LaVerkin LDS Stake Center, 481 N. Main, LaVerkin, UT. A viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Parowan City Cemetery.
