Mrs. Louise McDowell Thomason, age 88, of Mableton, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009. Currently a member of Vinings First Baptist Church, she had been a member of the WMU at Woodland Hills Baptist Church for many years prior to moving to Mableton. She had been a member of the Organization of the Eastern Star and a member of the Shriners Women's Axillary, the Devilettes.
Preceded in death by her husband, Horace Monroe Thomason. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lowe of Mableton; son, Richard and wife Sandy Thomason of Marietta; grandchildren, Heidi Brumbelow and husband Skip of Conyers, Cristin Thomason of Stockbridge; Kelley McLendon and husband James of Hiram; great- grandchildren, Heather and husband Ridge Phelps, Anderson McLendon, Campbell McLendon and one great-great-grandson, Rhys Phelps.
