A native of Rockwood, Tenn., she had lived in Florida since 1986 coming from chattanooga, Tenn. She was a member of the Church of God in Chattanooga, Tenn. She worked in Oak Ridge, Tenn, for five years and Baker, Ohio, as a machinist.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon Watson of San Mateo, Ira H. Watson Jr. of Satsuma; one sister, Ruth Pelfrey of Rockwood, Tenn.; two nephews, three nieces; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watts Funeral Home in San Mateo with the Rev. Claude Fouts officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 8 Oct 1991.)
