TISCH MILLS PIONEER WOMAN DIES AT AGE 74
On May 29 the death of Mrs. Anton Shedivy occurred at her home at
Tisch Mills where she had resided for nearly a half a century.
With her husband they immigrated to this country and with strenuous
work made it possible to clean from a barren wilderness one of the
best farms in the northern part of Manitowoc county. She is survived
by six children—four sons, Wenzel, Joseph, Anton and Frank, and two
daughters, Mrs. Jos. Miller and Mrs. Jos. Rose. Six years ago a family
reunion was held in the form of a "golden wedding" celebration.
Mrs. Shedivy was 74 years old at the time of her death and is survived
by six children as well as her husband who was her ? companion
throughout married life. The funeral took place at Tisch Mills on May
31st, interment being held from the Catholic church at Tisch Mills
where the remains were laid to rest.

The death angel called another of the old settlers to rest last Tuesday
in the person of Mrs. A. Shedivy. The deceased was about 78 years old.
She was buried at the St. Mary's Catholic cemetery last Thursday. Rev. A.
Cipin officiated. She is survived by her husband, four sons and two
daughters, namely, Frank of Two Rivers, Anton of Mishicot, Wenzel and
Joseph who live on farms here, and Mrs. Joseph Rose and Mrs. Joseph Miller.
