Leonard Walters Sr., 80, of Billings, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 18, 2013.

Leonard was born to Noah and Neva Walters on Sept. 30, 1932, in Ryegate. He attended school in Ryegate, graduating in 1951.

Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Marge; children Leonard Jr., Richard, Leroy (Brenda), Sheryl (Paul); grandchildren Jenifer, Noah, Leonard James, Ashley, Katy, Elizabeth, Susan, John; great-grandchildren Aiden, Brenin, Cameron, Jada, Gage, Avery and Ariana; sister Marie Maack; sister-in-law Pat Case; brother-in-law Ralph Brennan; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Leonard and Marge were married on July 15, 1953. Leonard worked 40 years in the tire business for General Tire and Whalen Tire, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed many years of travel, camping, fishing and spending time with family.

The casket will be open for visitation on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday leading up to the service.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.

Burial will follow at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
