Kenneth M. Jessup, 75, of Ridgeville died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 29, 1937 in Randolph County to the late Gerald and Lelia McMillian Jessup. Kenneth was a farmer in Randolph and Jay counties who also drove a school bus for Jay County Schools and delivered motor homes for Don Ray Driveaway in Decatur. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church, and a 1955 graduate of Jackson High School
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lillian (Peden) Jessup; two sons, Jeff (Kathy) Jessup of Ridgeville and David (Robin) Jessup of Winchester; a daughter, Brenda Shull of Farmland; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Ty) Kolp, Jeffery Jessup, Derek Jessup, Katie Yoder (fiance Eric Thomas), Kenny Clark, Ashley (Mark) Dance, Malorie (Jared) Dunlap and Whitney Jessup; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Kay (Lawrence) Roberts of Portland; a brother, Robert (Lynn) Jessup of Bluffton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cynthia Jessup; a brother, William Jessup; a grandson, Kevin Jessup; and a granddaughter, Carey Jessup.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Church, Union City, Ind., with The Rev. Bruce Bryan officiating. Burial is at Praise Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, Ind., and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com.
